Alexandru Bolboacă - Express Intent in Your Code - The Key to be a Good Software Designer
The code that you write is the blueprint based on which the program is built and executed. Software design is nothing else than the way you structure your code. All too often these code structures are not aligned with the features. The reason is that code designers (aka programmers) need to train themselves in understanding the intent of each code structure. In this talk, we will take a look at a few code structures and discuss their intent. We will see that code communicates to us not only through what is written but also in the way it's organized. And we'll make a first step towards improving our expression of intent in the code that we write.
